     So I am still playing with the maxisys pro. I can understand some frustrations with the promise of things that this is suppose to do. I know its a work in progress. But GM programming is only supported starting from 2006.  That is the only dates on my machine after last update. But I still like this thing and the patience is there . Hope any info I can post will help.

    Yes older vehicles have not been added yet but for now you can go to tis web and
    flash the rest @ acdelcotds.com internet explorer is required and a laptop

     Thanks ede65. I have a lap top. But I am going to get a Toughbook. I hate to take a chance on my personal one. But I am going to do that also.Is the Honda use on this j2534 possible and easy? thanks

    Was anyone able to flash ? I was newer successful. Today it just says:
    Sending failed! Check the network please!
    Anyone has any idea what can I do? I'm conected to internet and have the latest
    firmware for J2534.

     i have not tested the maxiflash pro on honda  but there is a member that did and he was not able to communicate with it  i can't say that it will never tried it  but you can give it a try and let me know   also if your getting a toughbook try to  get  a cf-19  tablet or a cf 30 both are dual core its what i use never had any issue with them

     yes many members have been able to flash with no problems my self included  it seems you may be having network issues check again let me know

     I was wondering how much speed I would need . Those are cheap choices for the tough book thanks.

    Well a cf 19 mk5 new is about 5 grand nothing cheap about that one the cf30 its also
    a couple of grands as far as speed goes this 2 will provide everything you will ever
    need

    I updated the operating software to V1.18 and the programming works. So, anyone having problems, check if newer system updates are available.

    Your welcome glad that's working for you yes the new update fixed a few issues one
    less thing to worry about
